It’s been a busy week at Saddle Creek in South Lyon, Michigan! We’re very excited to be putting the final touches on our newest model, the Summerfield.
Our construction team finished with the final trim details and paint touch-ups late Monday evening, making way for our cleaning crew, who got the model in tip-top shape for the decorators coming in on Tuesday morning. Tuesday was a flurry of activity as multiple moving trucks and team members came with furniture, artwork, bedding, draperies and more. Our decorating team, Eleni Interiors, is busy putting the final touches on the Summerfield as we speak (or write!), ensuring each room is perfect for our grand opening on Saturday, August 22.
Our newest model is an amazing culmination of a classic floor plan with desirable and innovative design features. Built-ins turn the study into a multipurpose space, functioning as a desk, craft space or even an additional dining space in case of extraordinary dinner parties. A bookshelf-inspired built-in cleverly separates the kitchen nook from the comfortable hearth room, while also allowing for a space within the home to feature family photos, heirlooms, and books, of course! A window seat in the girl’s room adds a timeless, elegant feel to the secondary bedroom. Finally, a drink ledge and kitchenette inspired built-in in the loft transforms this room from an ordinary to a fun, movie theatre living space.
Other details throughout the home—the wood paneled fireplace surround and the large, saw cut beams in the double tray ceiling in the great room, the dramatic use of matte and semi-gloss paint finishes throughout, and dramatic tile accents showcased in the kitchen backsplash and master bathroom shower—make this home one of our most memorable to date.
The Summerfield at Saddle Creek will grand open on Saturday, August 22.
