Who We Are

The Lombardo Homes story began in 1961, when Cosimo and Antoinette Lombardo built their first single-family community in Warren, Michigan. More than 60 years later, our team continues to honor their legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and customer care. Guided by those same values, we’ve grown into a trusted builder of new construction homes in Michigan and St. Louis, known for our attention to detail and dedication to every homeowner.

At Lombardo Homes, we take pride in being a family — both in ownership and in spirit. Still family-owned and operated by the second generation of Lombardos, we extend that sense of family to our entire team. When one of us succeeds, we all succeed; when challenges arise, we rally together to overcome them. This spirit of unity and support has always been the Lombardo way — yesterday, today, and for generations to come.

What We Do

From our beginnings in Warren, we expanded throughout Macomb County, becoming one of the region’s largest land development and homebuilding companies. As our business grew, we diversified our operations — from homebuilding to land acquisition, land development, lot sales to other builders, and purchasing developed lots from fellow developers. This diversity remains one of our greatest strengths, allowing us to adapt and thrive across changing markets.

In 2011, we expanded into St. Louis, Missouri, where we now build more than 160 homes annually. As one of the first builders in the region to combine custom homebuilding with production efficiencies and modern technologies, our St. Louis division quickly became known for its innovation, luxury, and customer-driven design. We entered the Columbia, Missouri market in 2020, bringing the same client-focused approach to mid-Missouri.
