Lombardo Homes MISSOURI Build Process Guide

Understand the process of building on your Missouri lot with the Anywhere Lombardo program with our step-by-step guide.

First and foremost, our goal at Anywhere Lombardo is for the build process to be an enjoyable one. Our experienced sales managers and construction coordinators will help guide you to create a home you’ll love to live in now and for years to come.

We’re getting ahead of ourselves, though. Below is the detailed process we will follow before, during, and after we build your new Lombardo home.

Step 1: Find a Home Site

Do you own property? If you do, you’re ready to move to Step 2! If you’re still looking for the perfect spot to build your Anywhere Lombardo home, let us know! We can provide you with a real estate agent’s information who will help you find the homesite of your dreams.

Step 2: Discovery Event

Set up a discovery meeting and price out appointment. Once that is completed, we will meet you at your property to evaluate it on site. You will meet the construction coordinator at this time.

Step 3: Collect Due Diligence & Site Evaluation

Next, we require a $5,000 check for due diligence. This fee goes toward the true cost of collecting information on the boundary survey, topography, test pits, environmental studies, and more. The remainder of the deposit is returned to you or is applied toward the price of the home. Depending on the municipality and HOA restrictions, this process can take 3-8 weeks.

Step 4: Meet with Custom Sales Consultant

After due diligence is complete, you will meet again with the custom sales consultant to review your home pricing and start the custom change process. Use our tools to help make your dream a reality! Part of our process is capturing all the modifications and additions upfront and not throughout the build, allowing us to give you true pricing instead of an estimate.

Step 5: Funds Verification

During the due diligence and custom pricing phase, we ask that you are in contact with a lender that can provide a construction loan to verify that you are eligible for the loan. If you are a cash buyer, we need proof of funds.

Step 8: Finalize Contract

Once the due diligence numbers are all gathered, and your home is priced, we will write a contract.
