Recipe: Golden Grahams S’mores Squares

As Labor Day quickly approaches, we have one thing on our mind: cookouts! With all of the back-to-school craziness, though, it’s hard to find a spare moment to whip up a treat for the neighborhood Labor Day BBQ. Our solution? Delicious, easy, and quick Golden Grahams s’mores bars. This recipe takes 15 minutes to prepare and is guaranteed to be a hit. Let us know if you try it and how it turned out!

Prep time: 15 minutes
Servings: 18-24 bars



  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 11 1/2 ounces milk chocolate chips (1 package)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 9 cups Golden Grahams cereal (1 package)
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows


  1. Grease 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Heat syrup, butter and chocolate chips to boiling, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Pour over cereal in a large bowl and toss until the cereal is completely coated.
  5. Stir in marshmallows 1 cup at a time.
  6. Press into pan with buttered back of spoon.
  7. Let stand 1 hour.
  8. Cut into small squares.
  9. Store at room temperature. Serve with a tall glass of milk – these treats are pretty rich!
