5 DIY Projects For Your Work From Home Space

Creativity & Design

Fall is here! It’s time for cozy sweaters, hearty bowls of soup, all things apple and pumpkin, and colorful leaves. So many colorful leaves.

The change in season is the perfect opportunity to redecorate! With many of us working and learning from home these days, one room that could use an autumn spruce is the study – or loft, or flex room, or wherever you’re working. Below, find 5 easy DIY projects to add fall décor to your work from home space.

This is a perfect DIY project for the kids to complete! Simply glue popsicle sticks together, paint, and display. Encourage the kids to come up with different faces to paint on their scarecrows to match their unique personalities. Bonus tip: If you’re looking to add a fall touch to another room, add a magnet and display it on the refrigerator in the kitchen! View the project at Today’s Creative Ideas.

DIY PROJECT 2:  Leaf Print Art

Once the leaves begin falling from the trees, gather some of your favorites to make festive leaf print art! This project from A Piece of Rainbow gives tips on which leaves to select and the best way to paint and press to get beautiful art with no smudging. After you’ve pressed your leaves, add some fall-themed messages to create stunning seasonal art to hang on the wall… or use it as a festive “Zoom Meeting in Progress” door sign.
